My biography

My name is Camila Cáceres, I was born in  Santiago of Chile  august 22nd  1996.I studied the secondary in college Andino in Cajón del Maipo.
Since I was a child I liked very much the sports, riding a bike or playing volleyball but the sport that was very importantly for me it was  speed skating, I practiced this sport since the eleven years  until the fifteen years old, and  I decided to leave it because I had a fall that was very ugly, but this fall took me to  a very  different side, that is the music.  I  started with the classical guitar , maybe because my mother always played  the guitar and the general the music always was very importantly  in my house.  At 18 years old I entered to  the conservatory of music  in the University of Chile, and study guitar one year. In this year I learned  very much, but I realized that this career are not  for me, and  the next year I decided  enter a study chemistry in the same  university.

In the current days I like very much this career and I hope that this continues  to convince me…

    My best friend of the secondary practice too speed skating, maybe you know each other, her name is Rocío Barra, but for her I know the amazing dedication that someone have to do this, I'm really sorry about the reason that you have to leave this sport, but that means too that you are a real warrior ññ

    I think choosing a favorite piece of technology maybe a bit difficult because I do not consider myself a fan of technology, but in reality the use of technology is more inserted than they believe in me, It is the computer, which used  for studies in the University, that give information  through the internet and in the free time that used  to see series, Facebook, etc.   Perhaps also the Smartphone also consider it important and they allow a much more immediate communication and in a much more friendly format to transport everywhere.

"Unicoos"

Is a YouTube channel created by Professor David Calle, which teaches different subjects such as chemistry, maths, etc. For me, the math was never my forte, so when I entered to university , it was difficult enough for me to calculus 2 ,also studing with books , I started to search the internet and get to the channel of YouTube “unicoos”, for me it was of great help as it explains every detail of the exercises and in a very dynamic way, so I recommend it a lot. As I said at the beginning, not only do you focus on mathematics but also on chemistry, which has also complemented me a lot in this area, so I think that for first year students and even second year students can serve as a great base To meet the demand of the best way. David Calle recently also nominated among the ten finalists to the Global Teacher Prize, and I hope he won recognition, he is a great teacher

My blogging experience

I think that in general my experince with english in this semestre was great. In relations with the blogs  was a activity it was help me in the redaction in general and explained my vocabulary very much  for this part the objetive was goal, but some topics  was very dificult for me for example the topic of the 7 week  “a carrer web-site” for me was the most hard because I take a lot of time to start since i did not  know which page to put, but for the other side   the topics of the  travels or series was most easiers, but i think maybe the topics should be of  free elections and  writting would be much faster   I think  this is  my first time  that write very much in english, because in my school we did not practice writing much, but this experience help me in this part, and aldo since for my carrer  the most majority of papers are in english, and  has been a great tool for the future.
